Programme and speakers
The programme, speakers and timings are subject to change without notice. The organisers will make reasonable efforts to deliver the advertised content but cannot guarantee that any particular session or speaker will appear.

The views and opinions expressed by speakers, panellists, participants and delegates are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views, policies or positions of Invest in ME Research or its Trustees.

Tickets, prices, refunds and transfers
The ticket prices are as detailed on the Eventbrite or charity registration pages. Ticket prices are per person attending.
Ticket-Only Access: Access to the conference and conference venue will be limited to "Ticket-Only". Tickets are NOT available for purchase at the conference venue, so please do not turn up without a ticket as you will not be allowed to enter.
Standard tickets (general admission, professionals, organisations):
For all standard tickets there is no refund after 10 April 2026 as the charity will have been contracted to pay for all tickets ordered. No refunds will be considered for no-shows. No refunds will be given for earlybird tickets after 10 April 2026.
Refunds will be considered if written notice is received by 10 April 2026. No refunds will be given after this date.
Tickets are NOT transferable unless agreed in advance with Invest in ME Research in writing. Only the person named on the ticket may attend the conference. Tickets may not be transferred except where this has been agreed in advance with Invest in ME Research in writing.
Patient/Carer tickets (heavily subsidised, limited availability):
These tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances due to their heavily subsidised nature and limited numbers.
They are issued strictly to verified ME patients or their immediate accompanying carers who are not representing any organisation, at the charity's discretion.
Those representing a charity or organisation are not eligible and must purchase standard tickets as the charity cannot subsidise other organisations.
Price increase notice:
Both standard and patient/carer ticket prices will increase after 10 April 2026. Early purchase is recommended.
Recordings and photography
Sessions may be recorded, photographed or live-streamed by the organisers for archival and educational purposes.
By attending, you consent to the possibility of being included in such recordings and images.
Unauthorised recording, filming or live-streaming by attendees is NOT permitted at the venue.
Conduct and safety
Invest in ME Research is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. Harassment, abusive behaviour or disruption of sessions will not be tolerated. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe, without refund. Invest in ME Research is not liable for any loss, costs or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement or cancellation of the event due to causes beyond its control including, without limitation, any act of God, natural disasters, sabotage, accident, disease or epidemic, trade or industrial disputes or hostilities, or where the health and safety of delegates and organisers is at risk.
Accessibility and adjustments / Disabled access
We aim to make this event as accessible as possible for people with ME and related conditions. If you have specific accessibility, pacing or sensory requirements (for example, quiet space needs, seating preferences or assistance with mobility), please contact info@investinme.org as early as possible so that we can discuss reasonable adjustments with yourself and the conference venue owners.
Disabled access is available at the conference venue but wheelchair places may be limited by the venue owners, and delegates are advised to contact the conference venue owners for any specific questions related to accessibility.

We reserve the right to limit the number of carers attending for one patient due to the limited number of concessionary seats available and to allow these tickets to be fairly allocated.
What your ticket includes and catering
The cost of the ticket includes the conference, tea/coffee/refreshments during the morning and afternoon, and hot buffet lunch. We will do our best to help with catering requirements but cannot promise that requests can be fulfilled.
Registration and confirmation of booking
Submission of a completed and paid registration to Invest in ME Research will register the application for one ticket covering the attendance day for one person at the event entitled "The 18th Invest in ME Research International ME Conference 2026". Access to the event venue will be limited to "Ticket-Only" and personal identification may be required for proof of identity.
By purchasing a ticket you agree for your details to be retained by Invest in ME Research for the purposes of managing this event. Attendees will receive an e-ticket containing their unique registration ID. Please bring the confirmation email/letter with you to the conference.
Data protection
Personal data provided during registration will be used solely for the purposes of administering this event, communicating any changes, and, where you have given consent, providing follow-up information about related activities. Data will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to this processing.
CPD accreditation
CPD accreditation forms will only be supplied to those registering using the Professional category.
