Dr Dr Caroline Dalton

Dr Caroline Dalton is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Genetics at Sheffield Hallam University. She is Theme Lead for Living Well with Chronic Disease at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and leads the Health and Disease Group within the Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying chronic and neurological conditions, including Long COVID, ME/CFS, schizophrenia and neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr Dalton also leads interdisciplinary research investigating how physical activity and lifestyle interventions can improve health and wellbeing for people living with long-term conditions.
